Meet Ryan Fitzpatrick, Warehouse Associate

Meet Ryan Fitzpatrick, Warehouse Associate at Twincraft Skincare. Ryan came to us with a degree in Hospitality and many years of food service experience and he's easily parlayed his versatile skill set into different roles in our manufacturing environment.

What kind of education or career training did you have?
I went to Champlain College in Burlington, and hold a Bachelor of Science Hospitality Industry Management A.S. in Hotel/Restaurant A.S Tourism Event Management

What has your career path looked like?
Since I could start working, I have always worked in restaurants, golf courses, and ski resorts. Before Twincraft I was working in higher education food service.

What's your role at Twincraft?
I work in Liquids Production at our Essex facility leading in both the Warehouse and Production environments.

What does a normal week at Twincraft look like for you?
My weeks constantly change from being involved with direct production, to working in the warehouse, and beyond!

What's your favorite part about your job?
The people I work with! Also that every day is never the same as the day before. I love being a part of new product developments.

What do you wish more people knew about Twincraft?
That we are more than just basic bar soap; we make great, high-end products for some of the world's best brands. Also, we don't only make bar soap. We're doing a lot of new things with liquid skincare and natural deodorant.

What surprises you most about what we do at Twincraft?
When I first started working, my jaw dropped when I saw our list of customers and what products we make for them. And the list keeps growing.

Where is your favorite place to eat in Winooski?
I always get the #28 from Pho Dang but my favorite place to eat in Winooski is Jr's Original.

Editor's note: Pho Dang is a staple for just about everyone at Twincraft. It's right around the corner from our 2 Tigan St location, and on any given day, you'll find several of us getting their delicious takeout.

Bar soap or body wash?
Why not both?

If you could formulate any personal care product for us to make, what would it be?
I'd like us to make products to make hockey/lacrosse equipment smell better that would be great. I work with several local lacrosse associations, and this is definitely something that is needed!

Winter or summer in Vermont?
Fall is way better than both those seasons and it’s not even close.

Meet the Twincraft Team is a new, recurring segment from Twincraft Skincare, where we highlight a first-person account of what life looks like working in our Vermont-based, artisinal manufacturing environment.
