Paths to Development

Base Library

If you’re not sure where to start, our base library is for you. Our Product Innovation Team has created an extensive collection of formulas designed to give you a starting point for development. After selecting a texture and format you like, you can add your own unique ingredient heroes and fragrances to differentiate your product through storytelling.

Utilizing our base library is the fastest way from idea to market because our bases have been fully vetted, tested, and scaled up, making them more predictable. A full battery of testing and piloting is still required, but time is saved during the iterative process at the beginning of development.

Paths to Development

Tech Transfer

If you already have a formula you love, we can help get that formula into (and onto) the hands of your consumer. Whether you formulate your products in-house or use a third-party lab for your formulation work, all you need to do is send us the mixing instructions, and we will scale up your approved formula.

Tech Transfers are best for brands that already own and sell their formulas, but are looking for a better manufacturing experience.

Paths to Development

Custom Development

If we don’t have a base that meets your vision or you are looking to further differentiate your formula, we also offer custom formulation using our in-house team of cosmetic chemists.

This path is often best for brands that have very specific aesthetic, textural, and efficacy goals. Custom formulation takes time and can be less predictable, but can yield some of the most unique formulas.
