The latest innovation creating a buzz around town is our new Hybrid Base, a combination of two base models that marries the benefits of each into a single product.
The Hybrid integrates capric/caprylic triglyceride, a highly moisturizing emollient from our CC Base, with sodium stearate, the star ingredient in our SS Base. Functioning in the same way, the difference between these bases lies in the application and after-feel. The real beauty of this product is the flexible nature of its formula, which can be utilized as an effective natural deodorant or tailored to a completely different skincare concept.
Using an emulsification system, we’re able to synthesize oil-soluble capric/caprylic triglyceride with water-soluble sodium stearate to achieve a versatile formula that can deliver a variety of ingredients, ranging from lipophilic actives like retinol and natural plant oils to hydrophilic molecules such as vitamin C, peptides and niacinamide. The Hybrid Base provides a smooth glide and additional barrier support from the capric/caprylic triglyceride content and a comfortable, non-greasy finish compliments of the sodium stearate. The result is a multi-functional product, suited as a high-performance deodorant, serum stick, or any solid story your brand envisions!
